Lise Lefebvre

As an omnivore I accept that I kill animals for consumption, but I’ve never liked the idea of killing animals simply for trophies.  Hunters with a high powered modern rifle sitting in camouflage up in a tree have a bit of a skewed advantage; now if said hunter came at an animal with a bowie knife and played fair, claw against claw, I wouldn’t have a problem with that. Lise Lefebvre takes a fun approach to the idea of a bear skin rug by reinterpreting a wool Persian rug and a Dutch blanket into animal hides.  The effect is gorgeous, can you imagine seeing a bear walking around in the woods looking like one of these, I wish.
