Lang Baumann

When I first saw this inspiring photo I thought of skipping down the yellow brick road on acid, something I would very much like to do.  But some very slight investigation revealed that the small Swiss town of Vercorin is apparently hosting a design summit and recognizing that their sleepy, ski town is in aces when it comes to old world charm but short coming in modern flair, they turned to design duo Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann of Lang Baumann for some hip resuscitation.  A little abstract thinking and hundreds of gallons of paint later, you have the Beautiful Streets Project.  A gorgeously guided traipse through the town center where paths cross pollinate and juxtapoz wildly amongst cobble stones and century old shingles.  Proving time and again that a little color goes a long way.
