Jaren Goh

This amusing silhouette bookcase by Singapore designer, Jaren Goh, blends the allure of antiquity with a clean, paper towel rub down modernism.

Made for Munkii, Goh explains his idea, ““I designed Vintage with the purpose of blending the flamboyance of the baroque style with the simplicity of the contemporary approach. I hope the resulting product will be something our eyes can easily fall in love with.”  I love this design, the inset shadowbox is stunning, truly a perfect hybrid of past and present.

  1. I really love the edges. I wonder how they do that. Maybe it’s a router? Nonetheless, it’s an awesome piece.
