Georges Rousse

More geometrical artwork!  Georges Rousse says yes to optical illusions, and I’m quick to agree.  Painstakingly painting over warehouses, derelict buildings, or Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, Rousse creates perfect vantage points where in the viewer is blessed with a Eureeka moment; suddenly the walls/ceiling/floors align and there in is a flawless geometric shape.  Though working almost entirely in photography, I’d love to see one of his exhibitions where you can walk within the piece itself, challenging it’s different points of view.  Check out that carved aluminum garage!!
