Elisa Strozyk & Sebastian Neeb

I’ve always been a proponent for form over function, but why can’t we have our cake and eat it too?  German designer Elisa Strozyk and artist Sebastian Neeb teamed up to break out of the mold and come up with something that satisfies our sweet tooth for non-conformist furniture.  Thus was born the Accordion Cabinet.  The thing just screams, “Play With Me!”  Constructed entirely from wood, the accordion top piece is composed of honey-combed veneer which easily folds back on itself creating a delightful aesthetic and interaction.  Sure, it takes up a lot of room for a relatively small storage interior space, but splash some color on it and it would easily steal the show in any home turning all your other furniture jealous.
