Eero Koivisto

Designed for the sustainable Swedish company Offect by Eero Koivisto, the tables, called Amazonas, are inspired by the South American rainforests for which they’re named.  Each dual-topped table is adjunctly stilted upon 5 angled legs meant to represent the fashion in which a trees roots haphazardly grow.  These impish tables are made entirely from lacquered steel and are 100% recyclable.  Sold in sets of 3, $10 from every purchase goes to the Swedish NGO Children’s Rainforest, which protects rainforests in Central America.  Why not the Amazon?  I don’t know, someone messed up.  Available at architonic for an undisclosed amount, meaning a lot.
