Alex Kisilevich

I was feeling a bit morose today as Mondays tend to blemish my week, when I hop skotched my way across photographer Alex Kisilevich.  Alex works his photography into narratives, delicately arranging each frame into a series of events.  The set which stood out to me is titled, …and then you die.    I usually just pick out my favorites  but here the integrity of the collection is in it’s movement and the individual capture of each shot.  Though not exactly a pick me up, the melancholy beauty of Alex’s work makes me appreciate each moment a bit more, joy and disappointment are both paths along the same road …And then you die.
